I love words. And pictures. I especially love when they come together to tell great stories. When I was young, my mom used to tell me that I’d never amount to anything if I didn’t “turn off that damn TV.” To prove her wrong, I went to film school and then pursued a career in advertising.

I also love technology. And gadgets. As a kid, I learned to program BASIC on a Commodore 64, and for my 13th birthday, my parents bought me a few shares of Apple to teach me about the stock market—a gift that has paid dividends in lessons learned by observing the company over the years.

So, when I graduated from college moments before @ and .com entered the popular lexicon, I knew, instinctively, that I was destined to work in "new media."

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to do work for some great brands and great products. I’ve worked on the agency side as a Copywriter and Associate Creative Director. I’ve been equally comfortable on the client side, where I bolstered my business-savvy with product positioning, product marketing, brand management, e-commerce and social media skills.

When I’m not working, I’m probably kicking butt on Words With Friends. And when I do tear myself away from my iPad, you might find me on my bike; hiking with my two little dogs, Kilo and Frida; or visiting open houses of properties I can’t afford.
